Online Events Marketing Internship (Taipei, Taiwan)

This is a 6 month (paid) internship with opportunity to transition into part-time/full-time position. We're looking to fill 2-3 positions.

What to Expect:

- First two months will be learning the platforms and marketing strategies. 

- Only 10 hours required in the office.

- Base pay + Bonus Compensation.

- No selling to friends/family! You will be promoting virtual events where participants pay a registration fee to sign-up. You will learn to design and fulfill products shipped to customers worldwide. 

You will learn so much about marketing in a small company setting! We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, someone who is able to work independently and solve problems on their own, and someone who is responsible and can get their work done without a lot of oversight. 

You will assist the CEO with the sales and marketing pipeline while learning how to develop and market events of your own (for bonus pay). Most of these events are virtual so you don't need to travel or be present at the event. 

Company Culture & Compensation Structure:

Our company culture values work-life balance because life is short! 

Thus, for this Part-time role, you'll start by working only 2 days a week, about 4-5 hours each day at the office. About 10 hours per week. Compensation is 200NT per hour + 30% Commissions (NO cold calling!!) 

There will be a 2 month work trial where if the internship is not a good fit (from either parties), we can discontinue this role. 

Once you've developed the know-how, the bonus is dependent on your independent work outside of office hours. Commissions can pay out very generously depending on the work you put in. You can also earn larger bonuses by closing sponsorship deals with US companies (more info will be provided). 

Annual bonuses awarded based off of performance. Transition to full-time role is definitely a possibility.

Work Hours & Office:

In-person work will be done at several co-working business lounge locations in Taipei City. We also have an office North in Tamsui but will be subject to select times. 

10 required hours will be done in-person for the first 4-6 months. Hybrid & remote work a possibility after 4-6 months but again, will depend on performance. 

About For Glo LLC:

Our company was founded in 2014. We host and market in-person and virtual events all around the world, but primarily in the United States. Our company does digital marketing, SEO, content marketing, and is also a small family office investment fund in the financial industry.

Basic English Communication (Written and Verbal) required.

While no skills are required, some character qualities are important. #1 is being willing to learn and a strong work ethic. You will need to demonstrate why you can be trusted to get the work done independenly and go over and beyond in your responsibilities. Your previous work experience will be important.
